The Jubilee was originally 1 of 4 pubs built as part of the Bourgh Market building and is now the only one remaining. It was known as the Wheatsheaf and more recently the Portman and Pickles in memory of the actors Eric Portman and Wilfred Pickles, Pickles being a famous son of Halifax. It was renamed in 2012 as part of the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations. Popular for its entertainment, the pub offers a variety of events at the weekend such as karaoke competitions and live music performances, all of which are well received by regulars. This Pub does not serve food.
